„Nephthys, auch Neb-hut oder Nebet-hut ist eine Geburts- und Totengöttin in der ägyptischen Mythologie, die in ihrer Erscheinung auch die Göttin Nut repräsentiert. In den Pyramidentexten galt sie als „Göttin des Südens“."
